Freelancers & self-employed
Car Leasing Without a Salary Transfer or Income Proof
No salary certificate, no payslips, no transferring your salary to anyone's bank. An Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence are the whole list. 53 cars available now, answer in 24 hours.
The problem is the shape of your income, not the size of it
A UAE auto loan is built around one assumption: that you are an employee on a fixed salary paid into the lending bank. Everything follows from that.
The salary transfer condition
Most competitive rates require your salary to land in that specific bank. If you invoice clients, there is no salary to move.
The salary certificate
Issued by an employer on company letterhead. A freelance permit holder has no employer to issue one.
Six months of statements read as a payslip
A credit officer is looking for the same number on the same date each month. Project work does not look like that, even when it adds up to more.
Commission and variable pay get discounted
Many lenders count only the fixed portion of your income, so a strong commission year can be assessed as a weak salary.
What we look at instead
The car
It stays registered to Drive Your Dream for the whole term. We are the legal owner until the final payment.
The down payment
It counts as your first payment and forms the rest of what stands behind the agreement.
Whether the monthly figure holds in a weak month
We would rather point you at a cheaper car in the fleet than sign you into a payment that only works in a good quarter.
What we never ask for
- A salary certificate or an employment contract
- A salary transfer to any particular bank
- Payslips or proof of income
- Six months of bank statements
- A trade licence or company accounts
- An AECB credit report
Who this is usually for
Freelancers on a freelance permit
Income from several clients, no single employer, nothing a bank recognises as a payslip.
Business owners
Capital stays in the business instead of being frozen in a car purchase, and no corporate guarantee is needed.
Commission-paid and sales roles
Your best months do not count fully at a bank. Here they do not need to.
Anyone between structures
Just changed employer, moved from employment to your own licence, or between contracts.

Without salary transfer — FAQ
Can I lease a car without transferring my salary to a bank?
Yes. There is no salary transfer requirement, because there is no bank in the transaction at all. Drive Your Dream buys the car and leases it to you directly.
I am a freelancer on a freelance permit. Do you work with that?
Yes. We do not ask what your permit says or who pays you. The two documents we need are an Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence.
Do you need a salary certificate or proof of income?
No. No salary certificate, no payslips, no six months of bank statements, no audited accounts. A bank needs those because it is lending money against your future income; we are leasing you a car we own.
My income is irregular — some months are much better than others. Is that a problem?
Not structurally. What matters is whether the monthly figure is comfortable in your weaker months, not your best ones. Pick the payment against your floor, and tell us if you want a cheaper car to get there — we would rather do that than sign you into something tight.
I own a company. Can I lease in my own name?
Yes, in your own name with your Emirates ID and licence. Nothing about the company is required — no trade licence, no company bank statements, no corporate guarantee.
How do the payments actually work without a salary account?
Post-dated cheques or a standing order from whichever bank you use — both are accepted, so there is also a path that does not involve writing cheques. You choose before signing.
Will this show up on my credit file?
No. We do not query the Etihad Credit Bureau to approve you, and the lease is not reported to it, because it is not a loan.
What does the payment not include?
Insurance, registration and paperwork are billed once a year as a single renewal fee: 5% of the vehicle value, minimum AED 8,000. Fuel, Salik and fines are yours. The mileage allowance is 25,000 km a year, with 35,000 and 50,000 km packages available.
Paid by invoice rather than payslip?
Send your Emirates ID and licence — an answer within 24 hours.
