Car Leasing in Dubai
Car Leasing in Dubai — Terms from 12 to 48 Months
Most people in Dubai know how long the current chapter is likely to last — a contract, a project, a school year or three. A lease can be sized to that horizon; a purchase cannot. Drive Your Dream: 54+ vehicles from 11 brands, approval in 24 hours, no credit check.
People arrive in Dubai on a contract and stay longer than they meant to, but almost nobody can say where they will be living in four years. A contract ends; a project closes and the next one starts in another emirate. The short planning horizon is how the city works.
Buying a car then freezes capital in an asset you may have to sell in a hurry, and a rushed sale is rarely a good one: you take the first offer that clears the loan and move on. A predictable loss, unrelated to the car.
Match the Term to Your Horizon
Our terms run from 12 to 48 months. The question is not how much you can pay each month, but how far ahead you are genuinely planning. If your contract has eighteen months left and what follows is a blank, take the shorter term.
Buying the car at the end is an option, not an obligation. If you are leaving, or you need something bigger, you hand it back. If you are staying, you buy it out.
Here, the Car Is Part of the Work
In Dubai the car is on view more often than elsewhere in the Emirates: a client in the passenger seat, the office car park in DIFC or Business Bay, the hotel entrance where the meeting is. It gets noticed mostly when something is off.
That is not a reason to spend more than you planned, but a reason to choose deliberately: a car that suits the work you do, on a term whose end you can see. The fleet runs from economy to sport.
Short Distances, Dense Traffic, Underground Parking
Distances here are short; density eats the time. Marina to Downtown, JLT to Business Bay — a few kilometres that stretch to forty minutes on Sheikh Zayed Road. Most of the mileage is stop-start, ending on a narrow ramp into a low-ceilinged basement.
Size and outward visibility matter more than acceleration: a car that is easy to place and to park pays you back daily. A large SUV is comfortable on the highway and awkward in an older Marina tower; a compact crossover is the opposite trade. Tell us where you live, work and park.
Driving outside the UAE is possible, but only with our written permission (NOC), arranged in advance.
The Mileage Arithmetic
Every lease includes 25,000 km a year. For Dubai that is usually generous: the trips are short, and a 20 km commute each way plus weekends fits with room to spare. Sharjah and Al Ain are different — a daily drive between emirates eats the same allowance by autumn.
If your work is genuinely mobile — sites, clients across the city and beyond — take a larger package from the start: 35,000 or 50,000 km a year. Over the limit it is 10 AED per kilometre, so choose the package up front.
What You Pay Us, and What You Pay on Top
You pay us twice; the rest of running a car in Dubai stays with you.
Monthly payment
For the vehicle. Fixed for the whole term.
Annual fee
Insurance, registration and paperwork, once a year: 5% of vehicle value, minimum AED 8,000. Not part of the monthly payment.
Salik
Toll gates on the main routes are charged to you — a steady cost on top of the lease payments for anyone crossing the city daily.
Fuel and parking
Also yours.
Who Leases in Dubai
New residents
A bank wants six months of salary history before it will discuss a car loan. We ask for two documents: Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence. The deal is secured by the car, which stays registered to us for the whole term, and by the first payment.
Freelancers and company owners
Irregular income is hard for a bank to score, so the file stalls there. We do not score income at all — the same two documents, and the first payment.
Anyone the bank turned down
A rejection is usually about the file, not the person. We do not query the Etihad Credit Bureau, and the lease is not reported to AECB.

Car Leasing Dubai — FAQ
How long can I lease a car for in Dubai?
From 12 to 48 months. Pick the term against the horizon you are actually planning for — a contract, a school year, a project. Buying the car at the end is optional.
What happens at the end of the term if I leave Dubai?
You hand the car back and the lease ends there. Buying it out is an option, not a requirement — which is why a lease fits plans with an end date.
Is Salik included in the lease?
No. Toll charges are yours and sit outside both the monthly payment and the annual fee. If your daily route crosses the gates on Sheikh Zayed Road, treat Salik as a regular cost on top of the lease.
Is insurance part of the monthly payment?
No. The monthly payment covers the vehicle only. Insurance, registration and paperwork are billed once a year as a single annual fee: 5% of vehicle value, minimum AED 8,000.
How many kilometres a year are included?
25,000 km as standard, which most Dubai city drivers stay inside comfortably. If your work is mobile, take a 35,000 or 50,000 km package; over the limit it is 10 AED per kilometre.
I have just moved to Dubai. Can I lease straight away?
Yes. A bank typically wants six months of salary history; we do not. The list is two documents: Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence. Approval in 24 hours, car in 1–3 working days.
Will the lease show up in my credit history?
No. We do not query the Etihad Credit Bureau, and the lease is not reported to AECB — it neither builds nor damages your credit file. A previous bank rejection does not decide the outcome.
Can I lease a car I have already found in Dubai?
Yes — Bring Your Own Car. Send us the listing for any car on the UAE market: we inspect it on 150 points, buy it at zero markup and lease it to you. 5–7 working days.
