The annual fee covers insurance, registration and paperwork: 5% of the vehicle value, with a minimum of 8,000 AED. Insurance and registration are not inside the monthly figure, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
No credit check is required, and the decision is ours to make. We ask for two documents: an Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence. What secures the agreement is the car itself, registered to the company for the whole term, and your first payment. Approval takes 24 hours and the car reaches you in 1 to 3 working days.
Jebel Hafeet, the Oman Border and the Fine Print
Al Ain has an unusual geography: a mountain road on the edge of town and an international border close by. Both carry conditions on a leased car, and it is better to know them before signing than after.

Add the school run, the university and the weekly shopping and an Al Ain driver reaches the 25,000 km standard limit noticeably sooner than a Dubai resident does. If that is your pattern, take a larger package from the start.

The standard lease includes 25,000 km per year. Packages of 35,000 km and 50,000 km per year are available for high-distance drivers. Anything above your limit is charged at 10 AED per kilometre. There are no hidden tiers, and we would rather you chose the right package at the start than settle an overage at the end.
Can I take a leased car into Oman?
Only with written permission from us in the form of a No Objection Certificate, arranged before you travel. The Oman border is close to Al Ain, so this comes up often. Ask us in advance rather than at the crossing.
Can I drive to Jebel Hafeet or take the car off-road?
The Jebel Hafeet road is a public road and the lease covers it like any other. Off-road driving is a different matter: leaving public roads for sand, gravel or dunes is prohibited under the lease agreement, regardless of what the vehicle is capable of.
Is servicing included when I cover a lot of kilometres?
Yes. Servicing to the manufacturer schedule is included in the annual fee. At high annual mileage the intervals come round by odometer rather than by calendar, sometimes two or three times as often as for a low-mileage city driver, so this is worth more in Al Ain than it is on the coast.
