Bring Your Own Car: Lease a Market Car from AED 150,000 in Dubai

Bring Your Own Car is DYD's most unique service. Instead of choosing from our existing fleet, you source a car listed from AED 150,000, model year 2023 or newer, from anywhere in the UAE — and we set up a lease-to-own on it.

The process:
1. You find a car on Dubizzle, DubiCars, at any dealer, auction, or private seller
2. You send us the link or listing details
3. We evaluate the car using our proprietary DealDrive platform
4. If it passes, we arrange an independent inspection via EasyCare
5. We negotiate and purchase the car
6. We register, insure, and prepare it for your lease
7. You get the keys. 5-7 business days from start to finish.

Same no-credit-check decision. Same payment structure. Same ownership transfer at contract end. The only difference: you chose the exact car you want.

Our fleet is a curated selection — the UAE market has thousands of cars from AED 150,000, 2023 or newer. BYO opens them to you:

• Exact spec. Want a 2024 BMW X5 in Tanzanite Blue with M Sport Package and ventilated seats? Find it. Send us the link.
• Fair price. DealDrive checks the listing against comparable cars across the UAE, so you do not overpay for the car you chose.
• Rare models. Looking for a specific trim, color, or option package not in our fleet? BYO makes it possible.
• Auction deals. Emirates Auction and ADNOC auctions often have exceptional values. We can bid on your behalf.
• New cars. Want to buy from an authorized dealer at official pricing? We can purchase it directly and set up your lease.

Not every car passes our evaluation. We protect your investment with a rigorous process:

Market Analysis: DealDrive scans every live listing in the UAE for identical vehicles. We identify the lowest comparable price and generate a fair market valuation. If the seller's price is above market, we negotiate or advise against.

Inspection: Every BYO vehicle undergoes a comprehensive inspection by EasyCare — a third-party vehicle inspection company. The inspection covers:

• Engine and transmission condition
• Accident history and structural integrity
• Paint thickness readings (detecting repaints/hiding damage)
• Electrical systems
• Interior condition
• Tire and brake wear

Decision: Based on the inspection report and market valuation, we accept or decline the vehicle. If declined, we explain why and help you find a better option.

Market cars that meet our rules:

Accepted:

• Listing price from AED 150,000 (the lease is calculated on the listing plus 5% VAT)
• Model year 2023 or newer
• Cars from private sellers, dealers, and auctions
• New cars from authorized dealers

Not accepted:

• Cars listed under AED 150,000
• Chinese brands
• Fully electric cars (EVs); hybrids are fine
• Vehicles with significant accident damage
• Cars with odometer discrepancies
• Vehicles with unclear ownership history
• Modified vehicles that fail safety standards

Terms: from 20% down, no final payment, 12–24 months (a 36-month term is decided case by case). On a AED 150,000 car that is from about AED 8,100 a month over 24 months with 20% down, and about AED 39,500 to start (down payment plus the first annual fee).

Day 1-2: You send the listing. We run DealDrive analysis and share the valuation with you.

Day 2-3: If the price is right, we arrange an EasyCare inspection. Results within 24 hours.

Day 3-5: Inspection passes. We negotiate final price with the seller, complete the purchase, and handle RTA transfer.

Day 5-7: Vehicle is registered under DYD, insured, GPS installed, and prepared for handover.

Day 7: You pick up the keys or we deliver to your location.

Total: 5-7 business days from link to keys. For new cars from dealers, the process can be faster since no inspection is needed.

Is there a minimum price?

Yes. We take market cars listed from AED 150,000, model year 2023 or newer, and not Chinese brands or fully electric cars (EVs); hybrids are fine. On a AED 150,000 car that is from about AED 8,100 a month over 24 months with 20% down. For a lower budget, choose a car from our fleet.

Does BYO cost extra?

There is no service fee for BYO. Your lease is calculated on the listing price plus 5% VAT, from 20% down, with no final payment. The monthly payment covers the vehicle; insurance, registration, GPS and admin sit in the annual renewal fee — identical to fleet leases.

What if the car fails inspection?

We advise you against proceeding and explain the issues found. There is no charge for the evaluation. We help you find a better option.

Can I BYO a new car from a dealer?

Yes, if it is listed from AED 150,000. We work with authorized dealers across the UAE. You choose the exact model, color, and spec — we handle the purchase and lease setup. No bank involved.
